Follow Friday

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

 *Spoilers*

A: I think I would have to change the ending to Matched By Ally Condie. I felt like the ending was so boring and plain. Sure  Kyle had beem taken away, creating drama, but I just wasn't left anticipating the next book. I wanted Cassia to have actually come up with a plan on how she was going to save Ky because I don't understand how she's going to go about that.I don't know... I dont really have any ideas, I just know I wanted the ending to be different to what it was.

  1. Actually I liked the ending to Matched. You see I wasn't a huge fan of the romance, it wasn't very well developed. At least this means the sequel has a new setting to explore and the relationship dynamic has changed bit, so we might see that part of the plot line develop further.

I'm a new follower. Have a great weekend!

  4. Being the maverick that I am, I penciled in my own addition to this week’s Follow Friday question and then answered it.

Change the ending of a book? No way, no how.

From the perspective of a reader – it never even dawned on me. As a writer I find the notion sacrilegious.

Wait! I can explain! Follow me back to my blog for all the verbosity – http://www.howardsherman.net

    Happy Labor Day Weekend!

  5. Hey great blog! I haven't read the book you're talking about but I agree with the gist of it. Many books do that to us ;)
    Happy Follow Friday.

lol, thanks for the spoiler alert!!! Matched is still on my tbr, so I skipped the rest of your answer, and will have to come back to it! ;)

--As for me, I usually root for the good guy, but I've been reading A Game of Thrones, and as much as I <3 the Starks, I can't help but root for Tyrion!--It's not his fault he was born a Lannister!

    Have a great weekend!

  8. This week’s Follow Friday question is a hoot! In typical Howard Sherman fashion my answer isn’t a book world. No way. Uh uh.

    I picked an imaginary UNIVERSE.

You know how the saying goes – if you’re going to dream, dream big!

And I did! Follow me back to my blog and explore this imaginary universe with me – http://www.howardsherman.net

    Thank God it’s Follow Friday!
