Top Ten Tuesday

Hosted over at The Broke and Bookish

Top Ten Books I'd give a Theme song to:

1. Delirium by Lauren Oliver - What You Know by Two Door Cinema Club. I always related them just because 1: the song came out around the time I was reading the book and 2: the song sounds futuristic and some of the lyrics make sense with the book.

2. Water for Elephants By Sara Gruen - Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine. The song was featured with the commercials for the movie and ever since then it just stuck. Now whenever I think of the book I always think of that song too.

3. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer- Wild Ones by Flo Rida ft. Sia. I always think of Nightshade when I hear this song. Its that one part where she sings "Running with wolves and I'm on the prowl", that always makes me remember the book.

4. Twilight by Stephanie Meyer - You Make Me Smile by Blue October. Stephanie actually had this song on the playlist for Twilight that's on her website. Every time I think of the Book I think of this song as well.

5. New Moon and Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer - She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. So many lyrics of the song go so well with Bella and Jacobs relationship. Also a good one for Eclipse is Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon. I always think of Jacob when I hear that song.

6. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - Help I'm Alive by Metric. This song always reminds me of the book. It just has that vibe. And the lyrics match the book pretty well.

7. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins - Rolling in the deep By Adele. I think its more the rhythm of the song that the lyrics. Although there are a couple lyrics that are spot on with the book.

8. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins - Cough Syrup by Young the Giant. I recently discovered this song via Jump start on VH1 and it immediatly reminded me of Mockingjay.

That's all I can think of now, maybe I'll come up with more later :)

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at The broke and the Bookish.
Top Ten Twelve Books I'd save If My House Was Being Abducted By Aliens

1. The Outsiders- I've had that book since the 7th grade. No bookshelf I would ever have could be considered complete without it.

2, 3, 4, 5. The Twilight Saga- Yes, this was the first series I ever bought with my own money. And I love it!

6, 7, 8. The Hunger Games Trilogy - These are my #1 favorite books in the world. I could not go on without them.

9, 10, 11, 12. All my books signed by Maggie Steifvater which are Shiver, Linger, Forever, and Lament. It was incredible to have meet her and those books hold that memory.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish
This week its Top Ten Books I wish I could read again for the first time
For me there are only 2 books ( or more like book series) that I really wish I could read again for the first time and those are:

  1. The Twilight Saga. I remember being so happy and so obsessed when I read this series. It was in December when I started the series and I remember being snuggled up with a warm blanket, drinking coffee as I read the books. I really wish I could go back to when I first started reading the books so that I can feel that anticipation and giddiness again..

   2. The Hunger Games Trilogy. All the surprises and shocks that I encountered while reading these books were so amazing! How I wish I could read them again for the first time. I wish I didn't know what was gonna happen already! I envy the person who is reading the series for the first time! They don't know how lucky they are.

I'm sure there are a couple more but these two are the ones that always come to my mind.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
Its a Freebie this week and chose to do
My Top Ten Favorite books!
(In no particular order)
This book is responsible for my love of reading. If not for it, who knows how long it would have token me to discover the joy of reading.

Whenever I tell someone about what this book is about, they look at me like I have issues. But this book is SO much more than about kids being ripped apart. It made me think about things I hadn't put much thought into before. I love it.

Usually when I read books about wolves, I always wish to be a werewolf but these books made want to stay human instead. I really like it when a book can change my mind about something that I like so much. Plus... I LOVE SAM!

There's something about this book that warms my heart. I want to be like Jacob Jankowski. I wanna have something amazing to remember when I'm  in my 90's. Or 80's at least.

I cannot believe how amazing this series was. The word " Epic" cannot describe how incredible this series is. I was completely mesmerized by it.
I love it. It makes me shed a few tears every single time I read it.

Yes, Its on my favorites list. I don't care what anyone says. I love it!

It was so good! I hadn't read something that good in a while. I cannot wait for Insurgent!
Well I've only got eight. So I guess its my top eight favorites.
