Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish
This week its Top Ten Books I wish I could read again for the first time
For me there are only 2 books ( or more like book series) that I really wish I could read again for the first time and those are:
1. The Twilight Saga. I remember being so happy and so obsessed when I read this series. It was in December when I started the series and I remember being snuggled up with a warm blanket, drinking coffee as I read the books. I really wish I could go back to when I first started reading the books so that I can feel that anticipation and giddiness again..
2. The Hunger Games Trilogy. All the surprises and shocks that I encountered while reading these books were so amazing! How I wish I could read them again for the first time. I wish I didn't know what was gonna happen already! I envy the person who is reading the series for the first time! They don't know how lucky they are.
I'm sure there are a couple more but these two are the ones that always come to my mind.
I really need to read The Hunger Games now!! I have been putting it off because I don't have enough time and it's a series, but I can't wait anymore.. if you can read for the first time all over again, you can at least re-read the books! Happy re-reading!

Both made my list. :) They are great picks!
ReplyDeleteNot a top ten participant, but if I had a list, those would probably be on there. That, and I would also have to add any Jane Austen novel. I love re-reading her books, but I just can't describe how I felt when reading her novels for the first time.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to let you know me and the girls @ PiF have nominated you as a Versatile Blogger recipient. :) Congrats!

These are in my list and I feel the same way!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree these series are great. Here's my Top Ten
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games is on my list too! In all fairness, I do like the covers for the Twilight series, although I don't like the books too much.
