2.  The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer By Michelle Hodkins.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

This weeks top ten: Endings in books that left my mouth wide open.

1.  Unwind by Neal Shusterman- The ending was so open. I MUST know what Conner plans on doing against unwinding.

2. Divergent by Veronica Roth - The ending left me shocked. I couldn't believe everything that happened. Especially since it happened so fast.

3. Delirium by Lauren Oliver - I kind of saw it coming but it still left me surprised.

4. Linger by Maggie Stiefvater- This one left me so stunned. I couldn't concentrate on any thing else the whole day.

5.Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins - All I could think was "OMFG!" Its a good thing I had already bought Mockingjay or I don't know what would have happened.

6. Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin - I was incredibly surprised when the whole mystery was being surprised. I wasn't even close with my guesses.

Well that's all I could come up with so I guess its top six for me :)

Top Ten Trends You Would Like to See More or Less of

Less

1.  Girls falling in love with supernatural boys. I'm tired of the same thing. I want something different. Let the girl be the supernatural one or maybe even both the boy and the girl be supernatural.

2.  Love triangles. Why can't there just be one love interest?

3.  Characters instantly falling in love. I hate this. I like it when the love in a story is developed correctly. You know, with time and special details that make me swoon.

4.  Parents who aren't around. Why are parents so clueless in some of these books. I wish the parents were involved a little bit more. Also, I want there to be siblings in books as well. I'm done with only child protagonist.

5.  Whiny characters. Especially teenage whiny characters. I don't want to hear that! As If I didn't hear enough of that at school!

6.  Books with series that never seem to end. *cough* House of night *cough*. I think three of four books in a series is enough.

7.  Broody, angsty love interests. I'm done with it. I want to see more funny, sweet boys in books.

More

8.  Alternative POV'S. Its so much more interesting to read a story this way. I feel like I understand things more. Like for example why to characters love each other.

9.  Guys who are funny and sweet and who don't hate themselves. No more angsty boyfriends.

10.  Amazing book covers.

Top Ten Tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday time – a weekly bookish meme hosted over at  The Broke and The Bookish. Today's topic is :

Top Ten Rebels In Literature (characters or authors) -- Those people who stood up for what they believed in despite the cost of doing so.

1. Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. She is bad ass and she stood up for what she believed in. she stood up against the capitol.

2. Melinda from Speak. She rebelled by not speaking and that's really hard to do.

3. Cinna from The Hunger Games. He rebelled by making fashion statements. He was the reason why Katniss was called the Mockingjay.

4. Tris from Divergent. She didn't allow herself to be made less just because she was small. She also over came the stereotype that was placed on her for being from abnegation.

5. Lena from Delirium. She was taught that love was a disease but she went ahead and loved anyway.

6. Bryn from Raised By Wolves. She didn't allow the pack to take her independence.

7. Carlisle Cullen from Twilight. He refused to drink human blood and never did.( I think? I'm pretty sure?)

8. Gale from The Hunger Games. He would hunt illegally and he joined the rebels against the capitol.

That's all I can think of at the moment.
