Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

A: I think that Unwind by Neal Shusterman would be a really good movie. I thought the book was awesome so as a movie, it would probably be just as awesome. And I think that it would make people think more deeply about abortion. Conner was my favorite character and I don't know who I'd cast for his role.

Review: Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

                                                                          - Goodreads

You know those books that keep you thinking about them long after you've read them? Well, Delirium is one of those books. Months have passed and I still find myself thinking about it.

What I like most about this book is the idea of love as a disease. Its such a clever idea! And just thinking about a world without love makes my head hurt. I love so many things! I love food, I love movies, I love books, I love my dog, I love my friends and family! I just can't imagine a world without love! I didn't think about love as a precious thing until I starting imagining it gone. That's when I realized what an incredible and powerful emotion it is. How its all around us, and how its in everything we do. That's what I love most about Delirium, that it got me thinking about all these things that I hadn't paid attention to before.

This book to me was absolutely fantastic. As soon as I started reading it, I just couldn't put it down. Every time I tried to stop, Something else would capture my attention and I would continue reading. I loved Lena and I especially loved her growth of courage throughout the whole book. I cannot wait to read Pandemonium and find out how Lena's story continues.

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

A: I do have a few favorite series that I keep going back to. One of them is Twilight. I will never get tired of rereading my favorite parts in all four books. The Wolves of Mercy Falls series is another one that I always find myself looking over. I love Sam so I especially like going over his povs. Another series is the Hunger Games series. I love it and will never get tired of its awesomeness.

Booking Through Thursday

Do you carry books with you when you’re out and about in the world?
And, do you ever try to hide the covers?

I do carry books with me. I always take my book to work so that I can read during my breaks. I also take a book with me to family members houses just because I always end up bored there. Also, when I was in school last year, I always had a book with me. I would read in between class assignments and would get in trouble for it all the time.

I will admit that I do try and hide the covers sometimes. I don't know why. I just don't want people seeing what I'm reading. Like I said, I don't really know why. Its just something that I automatically do.

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine! Each week, bloggers spotlight what upcoming release they're eager for.

What I'm waiting for:  Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Release Date: May 28th 2012

One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

Divergent was amazing and I cannot wait for this next book in the series! And how awesome does that cover look? I think I like it more than Divergent's cover!

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

 *Spoilers*

A: I think I would have to change the ending to Matched By Ally Condie. I felt like the ending was so boring and plain. Sure  Kyle had beem taken away, creating drama, but I just wasn't left anticipating the next book. I wanted Cassia to have actually come up with a plan on how she was going to save Ky because I don't understand how she's going to go about that.I don't know... I dont really have any ideas, I just know I wanted the ending to be different to what it was.
